Dandruff

hi guys... parang may dandruff si poker... flaky yung skin nya... bakit kaya? dahil kaya sa shampoo na gamit nya??? thanks!

wala ako ng idea ng shampoo for big dogs kasi kung all systems ka mamumulubi ka heheh mahal pero kung kaya mo go... maganda yun... pero alam ko pag worst na yung dundruff pwede nizoral

sabi sakin nung nag stud ng aso ko dati nakakabaog daw yung nizoral pag lagi ginagamit . ako gamit ko sa aso namin banjo soap

nung cardinal yung gamit ni poker hindi naman sya nagkadandruff... ngayon lang... pag pinapaliguan ko naman sya kuskos to the max ako... habang si poker nagpapakasarap... hehe... second bottle na tong gamit namin eh...

i used nizoral kay fluffy, ung with conditioner.. mabango sya and mtagal mawala ung amoy. one thing i dont like is it dries out the coat. but it is really effective on flaky skin. as in u cn see the difference once u used it.

Try nyo rin oatmeal soaps.

The soap one from Giga seems good too. It has coconut oil.

Aside from looking for a good shampoo with moisturizing actions inside...you can see results for skin relief within days if you start giving your dog oil. We started giving a shih tzu Troy Oral Skin & Coat, within 3 days the dandruff subsided 99%. The tray use to be covered with dandruff, but after a few days, no more. :D
I guess VCO, or Brewer's Yeast pills would have the same effect. But it is important to give your dog something internal that contains oil...and no matter which shampoo you use...try to get one that concentrates on putting moister back into the skin. :cool:

I would like to share my experience, My Pissy's fur is thick and quite curly, since she turned 1 year old di na siya nawalan ng dandruff, other popular remedies di naaalis yung dandruff niya and may panahon na sobrang dami nung dandruff naglalagas ng severe ang buhok, nagkakabald spot siya talaga...

2 months Peso's vet prescribe this shampoo Mycocide, antifungal something, effective siya kay Pissy kasi ngayon wala na siyang dandruff and wala na ring itchy itchy, but I think good combination yung may fish oil silang supplement....

This Mycocide shampoo, I bought at Animal Care Specialist Clinic sa Tiendesitas.

eto rin problem ko with Kay Shie eh... may konti flakes na siya.. kala ko nung una may fleas.. dandruff pala... kaya im searching for a shampoo para mawala to...
