I have read good reviews on this comb. It was made for double coated dogs like GSD, Chow Chow's, Poms, etc. Although they can be used for short haired or long haired dogs. It claims to pull out the dead hairs as you comb the dog. They make one for cats, and for horses.
This does not cut the hair of the animal, it only pulls out the dead fur in the undercoat, if your breed has a undercoat.
It would probably retail here at about 2,000php for the size small. I don't believe there is a market here for that...most people do not like to pay a high price for anything here.

thank you!

That price is just a guess as to the ball park figure it would cost here. You have to remember the one who imports an item, has to buy the item at cost plus taxes, pay the shipping fees to import, pay the taxes to bring it into the country, and pay the person who sends it to them.
All these fees are going to be added to whatever the item(s) are before retailing them...or else they lose their money on the venture. Not to mention if they have to spend gas to go pick up the item(s), or have to pay a shipping company to get them through customs smoothly, fees at the dock if applicable, etc.
It is never just cut and dry, unless the product is manufactured locally to retailers for redistribution. It would be nice though if it were not so difficult to get some things here.
It is why some very nice items on the market, will probably never be bought over because when the price is calculated, the items end up costing above the selling market locally, so it is just a lose.
This is why when you go to different stores, especially non franchised stores...although they may sell the same, or similar items...the prices will vary from place to place. It depends on what the retailer had to pay for the item to get their hands on it for customers. Some will have gotten better deals, and some not. It just depends on a lot of circumstances.

Bought mine on ebay.com. I bought the large yellow one and the small blue one for cats and dogs. Forgot how much I bought it for, though.
I can say that it does work, but my Siamese cat doesn't like it very much. Hehe. I haven't tried the large one yet on my grandmother's rotts, but I assume it'll work just as well. I'm not sure how it works, but whenever I run it through my cats' bodies, it always comes up with LOTS of hair, and my cats' coats are much smoother afterwards.
