Crate Training

we're having a hard time training poker to go inside his crate... any inputs regarding this? thanks! ;)

siguro sis just put him inside it only when necessary. I mean like if you will just leave him alone.. or want to isolate him from the visitors... basta iwan nyo lang sya dun. at first medyo cry cry pa yan pero masasanay narin sya.. ang dogs ko po nasa pen lang kapag walang titingin sa kanila at walang taong iba dito sa house... the may maliit na cage where they pee and poop ( kapag type nila) LOL! kasi madalas sa rag sila sa harap ng cr nagwiwiwi.. minsan sa CR nila ( yung cage) LOL

kame lang kasi ng kuya ang nagaalaga sakanya. yung mama ko takot hehe... so pag wala ako or kuya ko nakakulong sya. sumusunod naman sya yun nga lang may times talaga na ayaw nya... makulit! =)

medyo off topic siguro ito but i just have to ask, my 6 month old beagle has spent 2 days sa house so far. although we have no intentions of keeping his crate inside the house and keeping him in a crate at all, he just goes back and walk in the crate every now and then. question is, should i just keep the crate nalang para meron syang "room" or pagsasawaan rin nya yung crate nya when he spends more time sa house since 2 days palang sya dito?

what if kung hindi na train s acrate dog mo and now gusto mo na sya itrain sa crate..
ok parin ba or mahirap na?

we should keep in mind that we are not using the crate to punish our dogs... =) pag nasa bahay ako, nakabukas lang yung crate nya... pag napagod sya maglaro papasok na sya don... and pag sinabi namen na "poker, pasok", pasok agad sya... ;) parang sarili nyang room yung crate nya eh... dapat comfortable din sila don... ;)

yep...gusto ko lang din magkaroon na sya ng room nya lalo na pag night...mahirap na kasi baka masalisihan pa sya ng isa kong dog.
e pure Basset hound panaman sya...baka mahaluan ng border colie mix..hehe...mahirap na...
